Day 1 – Arrival in Leh & Scenic Drive to Saspol
Leh → Saspol | Distance: ~70 km | Time: 1.5–2 hours
Your romantic Ladakh journey begins with arrival at Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport, one of the highest airports in the world. Our representative will welcome you and assist with your comfortable transfer toward the Sham Valley region.
The drive itself is scenic and relaxing as you follow the beautiful Indus River through Ladakh’s dramatic landscapes.

Distance: approx. 3 km from Moljoks Heritage House

These ancient caves contain rare Buddhist murals believed to date back nearly 700 years, once used as meditation retreats by monks. The short hike to the caves rewards visitors with beautiful views of the Indus Valley.
Alchi Monastery:

Drive to the historic Alchi Monastery, one of Ladakh’s most extraordinary monasteries dating back to the 11th century.
Unlike most monasteries built on hilltops, Alchi sits peacefully beside the Indus River. It is renowned for its rare Kashmiri-style murals, intricate wooden carvings, and beautifully preserved Buddhist artwork.
